Snowshoeing & Winter Hiking

Winter sports don't always have to consist of stress, hustle and bustle and adrenaline rushes. While others climb the mountains by ski lift or daringly swing over freeride routes into the valley, you set off and enjoy peace and romance in the snow-covered winter landscape on a winter hike. On snowshoe or winter hiking tours, you dive deep into nature and follow in the footsteps of wild animals.

Whether with or without snowshoes. On cleared winter hiking and walking trails through a beautiful natural landscape, you can reach cozy alpine pastures at any time without special snowshoes. But when you put on snowshoes, it gets really exciting. Then you can penetrate even further into the breathtaking nature of the wintry Hohe Tauern. Join a ranger and follow him to see the ibex or red deer feeding – an incomparable experience that you will surely never forget.

In Mallnitz wonderful tours are waiting for you. The winter hiking trail to the Seebachtal, for example, is easy to walk (about 3 hours). Also recommended is the winter hiking trail to the Tauern Valley; with a length of 6.1 km, this is even shorter, but no less exciting.
